When you place an order, sign up for our waitlist, or get in touch with us, we may collect things like:

  • Your name, email address and postal address
  • Your order details and payment info (don't worry - this is processed securely through Shopify and we don't store your card info)
  • Any messages or emails you send us

We also collect some technical info like your IP address and how you use our site - this helps us make things work better for you. 

We only collect what's needed to run Gutzy Journals smoothly, so we can send you your journal, reply to your questions, and share updates if you've asked to hear from us. 

    How your information is used

    We use your information to:

    • Process and ship your orders
    • Contact you with updates (if you've signed up for them)
    • Respond to your messages
    • Improve your experience on our site

    We never sell your data. Ever.

    We use cookies to help the website run smoothly and remember what's in your basket. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser if you'd rather not have them.

    We take your privacy seriously and use trusted platforms like Shopify to help keep your information secure. While no online system is 100% perfect, we take steps to protect your data and avoid anything unnecessary.

      This website isn't intended for children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you're a parent or guardian and think we've got info we shouldn't have, please email us and we'll sort it out.

      We only share your info with trusted services that help run our store (like payment providers and delivery services). These companies only use your data to do what we've asked them to - not for anything else. 

      International Transfers

      As a small UK-based business, we use trusted services (like Shopify) which may store or process your information outside the UK. These services follow strong data protection standards to keep your info safe, even when it crosses borders.

      Sometimes we might update this policy to reflect how we do things or meet new legal requirements. If anything major changes, we'll let you know on our website and we'll post the updated version here and update the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of the page.
